2022-2023 ETWINNING PROJECT – LIFE IS GOOD, FRIENDSHIP IS BETTER

eTwinning Project ‘‘LIFE IS GOOD, FRIENDSHIP IS BETTER” is addressed to the students aged between 12 and 15 years old who need to know how friendships shape their lives, and what true friendships look like. Friendship is defined as "a good relationship between two people." A friend is someone we've been close to for years, or they're someone fairly new in our life. People are referred to as best friends if the friendship is really strong. This relationship is characterized by positive interpersonal qualities such as kindness, generosity, loyalty, and honesty. Bad friendships always include negative interactions and damage to our life.

All partner schools want to draw attention to the importance of friendship in life. They want their pupils to notice friends are an important part of life and recognize the differences between good and bad friends’ personal qualities.

AIMS

This Project has different objectives;

-knowing what friendship means

-recognizing the differences between good and bad friends’ personal qualities

-making new friends

-learning how to use Web 2.0 tools

-contributing to the development of Life Long Friendship

-improving social development and cultural awareness

-developing key skills including ICT use effectively, English language skills and national language competence

-increasing cooperation, social skills and group work skills

-enhancing basic skills including reading, writing, questioning, organization, analyzing information and time management skills

-providing a wide range of activities from different fields; activities related to Physical Education, ICT, Music, Art, Language and Social Studies.

The expected results of this Project;

This Project has different results;

-improving physical, social and mental development among participants

-improving English language and national language skills among participants

-enhancing ICT and internet skills effectively among participants

-developing social, communication, cooperation and group work skills among participants

-enhancing communication, cooperation and sociocultural awareness among participants

-providing social and emotional support, providing companionship among participants
